We run a variety of clubs to extend the learning of our pupils at Our Lady of Fatima Primary School. These are delivered by a combination of our teachers and fully qualified coaching staff.
Each term children are given the opportunity to extend their learning through our After School Clubs. They are asked to return a signed letter to school in order to gain a place. Places are limited and are offered on a 'first come first served' basis.
We usually ask for a small contribution towards the cost of delivering the clubs. This may be to purchase specialist resource or help fund a coach/teacher to deliver the activity. We will always try to keep this cost to a minimum. Any money must be paid in advance of the club taking place.
Each after school club begins promptly at 3.35pm and finishes by 4:30pm, depending on the club. Please make arrangements for your child to be collected from the school reception area. The clubs are always extremely popular and enjoyed by all.
Football Club
On of the more popular After School Clubs is Football. This is led by a trained coach and focuses on key skills, game tatics and the School Games Values
We offer it all year round to all year groups across the school. There is a competitive element to the club towards the end of the club but the emphasis is on fun no matter if they win or loose
The core School Games Values we look for in this club is:
Teamwork- Working with my team, not being selfish, letting everyone have a go, sharing the equipment and giving everyone a chance, showing team spirit and encouraging team mates
Determination - Never giving up on myself or my team, always trying my best no matter what, trying again if something goes wrong
Football Team
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Primary School Football Team currently plays in the Birmingham Catholic Cup, the Shireland Cluster and the Harborne School League (local schools' seven a side).
They also take part in the annual Premier League School Football Competition, competing against local other schools. We are looking forward for the competitions to resume when possible.
Gymnastics Club
Throughout the year, many pupils enjoy learning new gymnastic skills at our After School Club. The children learn and practise how to be flexible, improve their core strength, balance using their upper and lower-body strength, increase power skills and improve their mental focus.

School-Based Ensemble Club
The School-Based Ensemble After School Club started last year with a group of budding and enthusiastic musicians. Since then many children have enjoyed learning and developing their musical talents with our Service for Music Teachers.
The club happens throughout the year, after school, where the children learn how to play different chords, whilst singing too. They are so committed that there is just no stopping them. They work their way through the song book with great enthusiasm.
Well done to all the players and their talented teacher.
