Liturgy Leaders

Our Liturgy Leaders work with Mrs Nuala Levack to plan and deliver high quality spiritual events in school.

The group is made up of a selection of pupils from KS1 and KS2, who generously volunteer their time to meet each week after school, so that they can become involved in contributing to the Catholic Life of the school.

The Liturgy Leaders successfully prepare and deliver assemblies to different Key Stages and to the whole school. They aim to raise awareness of those in need. They are particularly focussing on St Chad's Sanctuary in Birmingham by appealing for goods that the Sanctuary is in need of.

'There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be open handed toward your brothers and sisters and toward the poor and needy in your land.' (Deuteronomy 15:11)

Weekly meetings involve prayer and reflection, group discussion and practical activities that support the Catholic Life of the school, as well as supporting the wider community and parish.
